A leader that can guide their mentee through faith but also through trust, commitment, and love. A Christian mentor needs to be able to keep him or herself accountable in their spiritual life to truly help their mentee continue and grow in theirs.

Requirements:

  1. Complete the application below. Deadline: Feb 4, 2022

  2. Be a a college student or industry professional in the greater Seattle area.

  3. Be a practicing Orthodox Christian, meaning you are continually striving to live a Christ like life.

Mentor Expectations:

  1. It is important that a mentor can lead for the mentee through faith but also through trust, commitment, and love.

  2. A mentor needs to be able to keep him/herself accountable in their own spiritual life to truly help their mentee grow in theirs.

  3. Mentors should help guide mentees achieve their highest aspirations based on the unique paths that they choose to carve for themselves.

    Mentors should also build trust through honoring scheduled meeting times, consistently showing interest and support and fostering a relationship where their mentee is free to speak about personal topics.

  4. Mentors should assist their mentee with finding resources, sharing advice and tips as well as broadening their mentee’s perspective of what their wants and needs are.

Mentor Commitment:

  1. 6 month commitment

  2. Regular check-in and meetings with Mentee

  3. Attend Group Mentor Meetings and Bonding Activities
